In this data analysis project, I explored the Indian Census 2011 dataset to understand the demographic and socio-economic conditions across different states and union territories of India. Key aspects analyzed included population distribution by gender, literacy rates, and workforce participation. Using tools like Python and Pandas, I identified trends such as gender imbalance in certain regions and disparities in literacy rates between urban and rural areas. The insights from this project can help in understanding population growth patterns, planning resource allocation, and supporting policy-making initiatives for balanced regional development.
